Photographer's Note

The “Selargino” wedding is an event folkloristic and religious held in Selargius (Cagliari) the first week in September.
The bride and groom, in traditional dresses, and joined by a chain, a symbol of an unbreakable bond, are united in marriage in a religious ceremony.

The procession of the couple chained parades through the streets of the town accompanied by many folk groups, who came from all countries of Sardinia.

In this photo a traditional dress of Isili (Cagliari)

The event was also attended by my frind "baddori" and each of us has increased its personal archive of folk events.
