This was actually the first of a sequence of pictures I took to make a panoramic shot, but found that it looked well on its own. As so many others have shown, the colourful surrounds of Burano are irresistible for taking photographs.

I liked this view very much. It gives a walking sense and with a bright light, different from many Venice photos. Maybe in composition, the lamp at the top might be included fully.

Nice colours. Good sharp details and a touch of reflections in the narrow canal.
