Mamma...Roma?, a photo from Rome, Lazio

The title comes straight (without dots and question mark) from a 1962 Italian movie directed by Pier Paolo Pasolini...here's a bit of the story ...An ex-prostitute, Mamma Roma (Anna Magnani), tries to start a new life selling vegetables with her 16 year old son Ettore (Ettore Garofolo). When he later finds out she was a prostitute he succumbs to the dark side with the petty theft of a radio in a hospital and goes to prison. The lingering shots of Ettore, strapped to a prison bed in his underwear are seductive and haunting, as are shots of Mamma Roma walking at night, joined by different men in conversation, one after another in one continuous shot.... nowadays, where is "Mamma Roma"? Maybe on a bus advertising?...hmmm, I don't think so ....

Nicely composed art image, beauty contrasted with the dark passengers, and the Roma symbol.
I have not seen Momma Roma, so will check out if Netflix (American home dvd delivery service) has it.

Occhio da falchetto e grande tempismo, questa l'hai beccata al volo ed il titolo ci sta simbolicamente a pennello.
Uno dei miei film favoriti del Neorealismo... Ottima l'inquadratura, come pure nitidezza e colori, bravo! Buona serata, a presto.

Ne vedevo una di Mamma Roma nella mia adolescenza, davanti all'Istituto Luce a Cinecitta', ma ti assicuro che non era questa, magari :)
Ottimo il titolo e la nota ma la pertinenza ce la vedo poco, comunque una foto ben fatta in composizione e interesse, bravo.
