Photographer's Note
The "Bec de Mesdì" and "Dent de Mesdì" (translated from the local language Ladino: "Beak of the noon" and "Tooth of the noon") are two famous mountain peaks located in the northern side of the Sella group, not far from the refuge Boe.
Both dominate the "Val de Mesdì" (Valley of the noon), a steep rocky valley that rises in the heart of the Sella from the meadows of nearby Val Badia.
The photo was taken by trail that leads from the hut Boe (2873m) to the "Piz Boe" (3152m).

Buon weekend e complimenti,Luciano

Hello Corrado - The detail in your mountain-scape is really excellent, I like the way the light is picking out some areas in the shot while others remain in shadow (where you still have good detail). The sky is wonderfully managed full of soft colour and tone. The one area which detracts slightly is the FG, for me it is a little overexposed and has an unbalancing effect on the image. I have done a very quick WS where I have burned in the FG a little, what do you think? Warm regards Rosemary

Hello Corrado,
This is a very nice mountain picture. I like the point of view.
The WS provided by Rosemary is a little bit nicer, in my opinion.

Dear Carrado,to make good Dolomiti pictures one need good weather and position, your strong point is that in all your pictures you have both of them.
This is a superbe example of the light and shadow play in the mountains.
Ciao and have a nice weekend.

Ciao Corrado ,
The Ladin language seems to be similar to the french one : we say also "Bec de" and "Dent de" .
This is a superb view of these outstanding dolomitic peaks , with a splendid game of light and shade . The cloudy sky adds to the beauty .
Regards
