Verona Duomo Nave, a photo from Verona, Veneto

Photographer's Note

The Main Verona Duoma has some impressive artwork hidden in several naves on both sides of the cathedral. It took me a while to find it, as there are so many images within this magnificent cathedral.

English: Cattedrale Santa Maria Matricolare. Abbazia-Lazzari chapel, dedicated to the Corpus Domini. Statement frescoed by Antonio Badile in the second half of the XV century. Altarpiece of the Redeemer between Tobias, the Angel and the Saints Liborio and Francis de Sales; the painting is the work of Sante Prunati.

Français : Cathédrale Santa Maria Matricolare de Vérone. La chapelle Abbazia-Lazzari, dédiée au Corpus Domini. Fresques peintes par Antonio Badile dans la seconde moitié du XVe. Le tableau du retable montre le Rédempteur entre Tobias, l'Ange et les Saints Liborio et François de Sales; Huile sur toile de Sante Prunati.

wow, this is a very rich altar with the shape of the shell at the top. Amazing interior which really encourages to visit this famous town.

I visited this cathedral, but I don't remember this altar. there are so many artworks in italy, it is impossible to take a photo all of them in a trip. marvelous photo. excellent quality.
