Medieval San Marco, a photo from Venice, Veneto

Photographer's Note

This shot was taken in Piazza San Marco in Venice during a traditional celebration with old costumes. I had to wait a long time to get this shot as turists were popping into the frame all the time. It was a shame that it was so cloudy. The light is thus diffuse and mostly the clouds have no pattern. I didn't do much postprocessing appart from some cropping and contrast enhancement.

nice shot good sepia tones, i like the composition and what the shot shows, yes it is a pity about the sky but sometimes it cant be helped! thanks for sharing
