This is the place, where river Daugava flows into the Baltic sea... There are two piers, and a lighthouse on the end of northern one. I got here on a windy evening and seemingly overcast day - hoping not to catch cold or cough, and surprisingly there were plenty of people in the rushing wind!
And the sky broke up as if ordered to bring in some light! (Yess...)
The contrast, of course, was very strong, but there were plenty of objects to make up an interesting horizon. In this picture you notice the pier lighthouse, distant ships heading for the port, some joyful (soaked) people on the pier and maybe some seagull - all in one line :)
