Winter transport-system, a photo from Madonas, East

Photographer's Note

In the Latvian country, you see in the winter alot of people using sledges as transportation-system. Sledges with kids, with food, with clothes, with oak, with potatoes, with the drunk-man......
This man was sliding down this road, with his dog running near him, when he saw us, he really "jumped" out of his sledge to go on the side but he was really sliding down very very very fast.....
i like the contrast, car and sledge

i know my subject is to much centered, by i won;t crop to not take away the frame of the car window....

Hi AnneFrance,
I like the original frame you used here, it gives the sledge more meaning as a way to move things.
Usually, the dog is pulling the sledge, but here its the man.

Hello Anne-F,
Very nice on the road capture! I like that bending road and the sign tells what is coming next! I too like to include some of the car when I do my Drive & Snap as I think it is appropriate and a part of reality, but all don't like that... I do!

This is a beautiful image. I'm glad you didn't crop the window frame out of the image because it adds so much to the image by giving it some 'context'. Now, about that dog.... ;)

Quite cute daily life shot. Real winter weather. I would not have guessed that you get so much snow in Latvia. I like your composition, it does not seem too centered to me, probably because of the dog and the sign. Framing is just a bit heavy to my taste.

Bravo pour la qualité de cette photo, car prise ŕ l'intérieur du véhicule, c'est assez étonnant d'arriver ŕ cela.
Ensuite cette composition est trčs bonne et nous montre bien les systčmes de transport en Lettonie.
