From serie "Summer in Latvia" #21
Laucu stone more than 2 m high and approximately 70 tons heavy, also called “The King of Stones”, washed ashore in 1853. (Source: Home page of Limbazi District www.limazi.lv).
It is located 60km north from Riga and 9km from Saulkrasti few hundred meters from "Via Baltic" mainroad (drive by forest road till guest houses near the coastline).
Latvia ir very flat country near Baltic sea and all stones with any dimention exceeded 2 meters are counted and have given names. Most of them are protected by the state nature's objects. These stones were brought in current territory of Latvia during last Ice age from South Suomi (Finland) and Sweden.

j'aime beaucoup la lumičre qui vient frapper ce rocher impressionnant et qui vient donner beaucoup de relief ŕ la photo. Trčs bon chois de cadrage. Bravo.
