Excellent take on daily life... As the old arms stretch forward to catch hold of the fish, there is a sense of fulfilment in the eyes. The short cap sheltering the old eyes from the sun. The wrinkled rings around the forehead and eyes, the unshaved chin .. makes this more than just a photograph of Daily Life. The folds of the skin on the fingers and forearm, and the small fish, takes us to Hemingway's Old Man and the Sea.
The blue of the waters merge into the misty blue of the sky in the background.
Excepyional clarity and colour.

Hi Maciej,

a great portrait shot taken in the right moment! I like the old fisherman's face with his serene glance. The fact that the horizon is not horizontal dosn't disturb here...

Wonderful portrait of this fisherman. You took this photo at a perfect moment when the fisherman is concentrating on his catch. His face so full of live and character and your framing is superb.
A bit tiny his catch though :-))
