Photographer's Note
Isabela had the idea to post photos that fit to our favourite songs. Strangely enough, she started with a sad photo (partially my fault...), and when I saw her photo and thought of a adaquate (sad) melody I got into the mood for sad songs and photos, so here is my contribution.
You do not want to know the story behind this boy. Just this much: he lives in an orphanage near Chisinau (I forgot the name of the village), his parents went abroad to work there and never came back.
Now, usually I´m not pathetic, so this be the exception.
The song I´ve chosen for it:
Nick Cave, Into My Arms
I don't believe in an interventionist God
But I know, darling, that you do
But if I did I would kneel down and ask Him
Not to intervene when it came to you
Not to touch a hair on your head
To leave you as you are
And if He felt He had to direct you
Then direct you into my arms
Into my arms, O Lord
Into my arms, O Lord
Into my arms, O Lord
Into my arms
And I don't believe in the existence of angels
But looking at you I wonder if that's true
But if I did I would summon them together
And ask them to watch over you
To each burn a candle for you
To make bright and clear your path
And to walk, like Christ, in grace and love
And guide you into my arms
Into my arms, O Lord
Into my arms, O Lord
Into my arms, O Lord
Into my arms

And now come on, somebody to post someting positive!!!!

Hallo Johannes,
berührend, zusammen mit der Musik...dass Du ihn in die Mitte gestellt hast erhöht zusammen mit dem Hintergrund die Tristesse noch mehr..
LG Christian
PS Du hast mich heute zusammen mit Isabela inspiriert ;)

Hi Johannes,
this is most touching capture and note, with a brilliant song to go with it. Rarely captures move me in such way like this one. This boy, looking so content with fresh pair of clothing and a beautiful face...hard to imagine he was abandoned by his parents. I sincerely hope his future will be complete opposite of his past. I really wish that.
Kind regards,
Jeri

Hello Johannes
I,personally, would like to know the story behind this picture, the story of this boy.Why not?.Because it`s sad?
It`s part of our life.Realities must be shown.
And I think you have more pictures from there.Maybe you`ll show it some day, here.
Imi place foarte mult fotografia,mi se face pielea,ca de gasca, doar cand ma gandesc.Multumesc.
My kind regards
PS:It`s cropped the upper part, with the sky?
