And there he stood:
a Scottish Highlander
in a little meadow
in the forrest around Groevenbeek.
With his wife and daughter.
Proodly looking into the camera
while he was eating.
You don't see them very often in Holland
but I love them....!

These scotish hilander are my favorite cows..to see.
A very good portrait for this beautibul animal, looking like a prehistoric one (I think, because I was not there).
Very good quality from the shot with these colors and light.

Hi Albrecht. What a play of light and shadows. I really love how you filled the frame with the cows' head. That's a strange looking cow, we don't have those much at all over here. Happy New Year Albrecht!

Joli portrait de vache rustique des highlands écossaises. Cet été j'ai découvert ŕ une quarantaine de km de chez moi, et en visitant un site préhistorique "les landes de Cojoux", une prairie avec ces jolies vaches des highlands écossaises, il s'agissait d'un musée en plein air avec d'autres animaux rustiques. Jolie qualité et couleur.
