And there she stood:
a Scottish Highlander
in a little meadow
in the forrest around Groevenbeek.
With her father and mother.
Proodly looking into the camera
while she was eating.
You don't see them very often in Holland
but I love them....!

This is certainly a very interesting animal to portrait. Is too bad that the light conditions were not the best. There is a strong shadow in the face of the animal and there are parts of the image that are overexposed. Still, I think that this composition shows your admiration for the highlander. This is a nice picture, good composition.
Also the picture is very clear and crispy.
It looks like a paecefull and friendly annimal.

Hoi Albrecht,Je had al gemeld dat je er nog een zou posten.Ze zien er uit om te knuffelen en volgens een opasser bij ons in de buurt zou dat ook kunnen maar als ze zelf aan het ravotten zijn moet je zorgen dat je uit de buurt komt.Mooie foto,het oog had een ietsiepietsie meer licht mogen hebben. Misschien kun je hem nog inflitsen met photoshop of zo.

Hi Albrecht,
I went back to view the wonderful shots in your Brugge series from the beginning and this girl caught my eye. I like the way your composition shows the details of his head with the background softly blurred. I keep trying to achieve that effect, I see your wide f/stop. I rely too much on the auto setting.

I love the glowing light on her red-gold hair, her big dark eye perering out from inder her curly bangs but I'd watch out for those horns!!
