Hallo dear people,

Wauw!,in these days of economical crisis and huge unemployment,I think Im still lucky to have my job and believe it or not Im extremely busy and limited of time because of my job,mmm.. lets call it a ""luxury problem"" ;=]](but for how long??),and last but not least Im a houseman too ,like my working wife,so thank god Im able to post a TE photo now and then.
And because of that limitation I have a different way of working,now Im not really going on a search for a good shot,no, I just take my camera wherever I go ,and see what comes on my path,and believe it or not,normal life can be a surprise somtimes,like on this photo while shopping in Haarlem,when I met the 1779 mill The Adriaan on a windy autumn afternoon.

Dear members I wish you all a nice Christmas and above all a peaceful,healthy and lucky newyear for all of you and your relatives,and the rest of the world and thats certainly not a cliche wish!
To be honoust,cant wait for januari,thank god this year is over.....

Een schitterend plaatje van deze huizen aan de waterkant. De windmolen steekt er mooi en hoog boven uit.
De foto werd heel goed samengesteld maar bovenal vind ik de lichtintensiteit wondermooi.

Hi Jan,

As much as I enjoyed Amsterdam, I liked Haarlem even more! I had taken a similar picture of this exact same windmill, unfortunately mine did not turn out nearly as well as this one!? Great memories have come back seeing this photo. :) I really enjoy how you've put this together to have the windmill as a centerpiece, but have also shown much of the surrounding area, which also holds a lot of interest and color. Nice warm sunlight and sharp focus has rendered a lovely and detailed atmosphere. Quite picturesque, this looks great! Hope you had a pleasant Christmas, and here's to a Happy New Year ahead!

U weet, ieder huisje heeft zijn kruisje, en de modern crisis heeft a veel gezinnen in droevige tijden doen belanden.
Wees zuinig en correct, en er komt een oplossing, maar er moet steeds een beetje geluk bij zijn.
Uw foto is een beauty, echt Holland maar o zo mooi.
