It has been a while since we had snow here in the Netherlands. I did not want to keep this one on stock until next winter though and since winter is not over yet ...

Taken just outside Haarlem in the Veerplas recreational area.

Hallo Harko, een heel mooie foto met diepte en mooie winterkleuren. Het ziet er idyllisch uit en de spoorlijn is kundig weggemoffeld.

Hello Harko.
A very pleasing shot with a lovely light and shadows, and nice contrast between the grasses and the snow. You have several different textures all converging to create a fine perspective. A delightful winter shot in superb weather. It shows how simple photos are so often the most pleasing ones.

Hey Harko,

Beautifully realized, one of those pictures that has it all - perfect lighting, wonderful colors, sharpness, composition, details - you name it. The sunny weather worked in your favor here. Although the motive is rather simple, it is at the same time very beautiful.

Ein tolles Winterbild!
Dein gut gewählter POV gibt dem Bild eine tolle Tiefe und mir gefält sehr der Kontrast zwischen Blau und Braun.
