Photographer's Note

fond: la tour appelée A'DAM (conception par Claus en Kaan Architecten) a été réaménagée en une combinaison de bureaux, des installations de divertissement et un observatoire avec un restaurant tournant.
Cela a nécessité une important rénovation de la façade.
Sur la gauche:
Eye le Filmmuseum occupe, depuis 2012, de nouveaux locaux sur la rive nord de l'IJ. Le nouvel immeuble du musée, un bâtiment ultra-moderne conçu par l'agence d'architecture viennoise Delugan-Meissl.

Hello Roland,
We have the reflection-theme in common today. The Eye is a fantastic new photogenic building. I have often seen it when I arrived at the central station in Amsterdam, but I must admit that I didnt visit the Film institute up till now.
Maybe I prefer to go to Oslo for reflection and is Amsterdam to close for me.
Your composition is well balanced and very attractive.

Bonjour Roland,

The glasses wall cares for a nice reflection.
Also the people is a nice addition.
Sharpness and clarity are perfect.

Bonjour Roland,
My french is not good enough to express my evaluation.
This summer I watched SAIL (hundreds of big and small ships on the IJ). I walked with my camera, but never saw this composition.
You captured the reflection and the leading lines. Bot are features that invite the eye to look longer.

J'aime beaucoup cette composition.J'aime l'effet miroir de la vitrine sur la gauche qui provoque un effet de dédoublement. Une belle famille se dirige vers toi et ils sont parfaitement intégrés ŕ l'ensemble.

Bonjour Roland,
Even though I have seen EYE many times from across the IJ, I must admit I have never visited the place myself, apart from dropping some off by car there. A very attractive photo of the modern architecture and the reflections are very nice too. The family is well included.

Excellent abstract/building photo/street shot. The abstract of the building and the reflection would be interesting in itself, but the four person gives some movement.

if you look at this scene closely, you can see how the subjects create a very large M - that's very cool indeed.

and i like how there's a difference in exposure and clarity from the left to the right too.

creative overall setup, the side by side reflective presentation works so well, I bet you're happy with this one
