Tholen, our new place since a bit more than a year now. A great and charming place. We felt "coming home" here at the first day.

Hi Viviane,

A wonderful winter picture! We haven´t seen such a sight here in Gothenburg for a long time... The red brick roof makes a fantastic contrast to the frosty landscape.

Do you have ice enough for skating now?

Bonjour Viviane,
Ah voila une image toute fraiche et qui nous montre que les frimas de l'hiver ont atteint les Pays Bas, pour la photo un vrai plus car ces branches givrees boostent les hautes lumieres et l'impression generale.
J' en profite pour vous souhaiter une tres bonne nouvelle annee, il n'est pas trop tard car ici en Appenzell nous celebrerons mardi l'ancien nouvel an selon le calendrier julien !

Hallo Viviane,

Hahahahaha wat mooi, dankje wel. Dus mijn foto's was precies wat je nodig had, dat doet me deugd ;-)
Maar als ik dit zo zie, dan maak je me toch enigzins jaloers want jullie hebben daar 400km verderop echt winter terwijl het bij ons wel licht vriest maar daar houd het dan ook mee op. Niks van dit soort landschappen, dus ik zit thuis en zit wat te klieren op TE ipv van dit soort fantastiche landschappen te maken. Prachtige sfeer, heel mooi neergezet....

Bonjour Vivianne,
La composition est ravissante avec le contraste du blanc et du rouge des maisons placées sur la gauche et celui de la géométrie des toits face ŕ la dentelle de la nature. Bonne utilisation du terrain et du talus pour ne laisser apparaître que le haut des constructions.
Bravo, c'est trčs bien réalisé.

A very charming wintry scene. At first look I thought this was an infr-red photo. The red roofed house gives the needed accent and tension with the white sorroundings.

You are giving me too much work, first I went to see who is Hank and what he said.
It is a beautiful postcard,those trees look almost unnatural with the perfect amount of snow.

Prachtide compositie. Echt Holland met de huisje achter de dijken, de kerktoren en een 'oud' Hollands besneeuwde landschap. Heel mooi gedaan.

Hoi Viviane

Vind dit wel een erg leuk winters plaatje,
de gebouwen zijn erg mooi neer gezet.
De kleuren van het rode dak zijn in evenwicht met de bruine bakstenen van de kerktoren.
Je hebt fotgrafisch optimaal gebruik gemaakt van dit unieke winterse weer.
En ik, hier, in het zonnige Australie maar nagelbijten bij het zien van al die mooie winterse platen in Nederland,

ce n'est pas souvent que je viens sur ta galerie et c'est bien dommage car tu as de tres belles photos, surtout ces paysages hivernaux qui sont de haute qualité.

Que les arbres sont beaux. Nous avons eu le męme phénomčne chez nous, mais le ciel était gris et bas. Ici, avec cette belle tour qui se dresse et la pointe de couleurs de la maison donne un trčs beau résultat.

Winter scene at its most impressive and beautiful! Glorious light and shadows make it so attractive. Executed perfectly as capturing a winterscape is not as straight forward as it looks, in particularly I love the white balance. Fine perspective and lovely how the red adds a stunning splash of colour contrast and above all the natural colors look so appealing. My congrats, TFS
