My favourite daily view, a photo from Noord-Holland, South

Photographer's Note

Just 200 meters from my home, the Oude Schand is my favourite canal and place to walk. On the bridge where the photo is taken, you can see the Zuiderkerk behind the big elm trees and on the other side the Montelbaan tower,
The autumn colors were at their best and the sunlight was just a little filtered by some very high clouds.

It is easy to see why this is your favorite daily view, it has everything, boats, water, beautiful trees and wonderful buildings.
I like the wispy sky, even though it is close to midday the light looks quite soft.
A lovely scene.

A fine catch of the Autumn colours of Amsterdam, contrasting nicely against the bluje grey sky. Good repetition of the boats in the canal, with excelelnt sharpness. Tfs!

What a fantastic view. It would not be difficult to understand why this is your favorite canal. The composition, colors and resolution are first rate. I too sent in a slice of my daily life, but what a difference I live in a rather placid, low population density area, you live in a cultural and historical capitol.

une trčs belle photo de cette ville mythique sue le plan architectural et artistique. Cett ephoto me fait beâucoup penser ŕ une autre que j'ai prise dans une ville éloignée de Amsterdam, Roermond . Connais-tu aussi cette ville ?

Autumn colours are well in evidence and nicely complement by the brownish tones of the lovely architecture. A well chosen point of view to give us a lovely perspective along the canal side and include the barges. Clarity is superb.

This is a great view from Amsterdam. The autumn colored trees provide nice color for the shot. The angled lighting is great giving the shot nice warm color and deep shadows. The angle of the shot is fine giving the photo a nice sense of depth and direction.

Hallo Gerrit,

Jij moet daar toch mooi wonen he als je dit zo dichtbij hebt. Natuurlijk is een auto bijna onmogelijk, maar dit ozo typisch Amsterdamse plaatje is toch wel heel erg fraai om te zien als je daar zo woont....heel mooi. Ik zou toch ook eigenlijk meer van Groningen moeten laten zien, maar kom er maar steeds niet toe...

Altijd apart, je wordt er nooit moe van. Heel sfeervol en in prachtige kleuren weergegeven. Beetje druk met werk (beetje boel) de laatste tijden, maar goed... Ik zie je gauw. Nog een fijne avond & de hartelijke groeten uit de Czaar Peter.
