Photographer's Note
While I have avoided going into a hairdressers since the beginning of the pandemic and I now have past shoulder-length white hair that perhaps Gandalf would envy, others will go to all lengths to keep their hair in style.
I know some may not like this image but with the reflections of the street outside and looking in at the subject wrapped in aluminum foil and wearing a mask I thought the chaos added to the claustrophobic feeling that I got looking through the window.
NB: This was taken in November when Kappers (hairdressers were still open)

Hi Elaine, here hairdressers are still open, one of the few categories saved from the government lockdown. The photo is truly the symbol of the great confusion that reigns regarding the decisions to be made, every day there is a new one, perfect capture of the reflections and of the interior of the store. Have a nice week and thanks,Luciano

Goedemiddag Elaine,
Ook in België zien we het haar steeds langer worden
Er wordt steeds streng toegezien om eventueel overtreders te verbaliseren
Uw foto zorgt voor een combinatie tussen weerspiegelingen en de kapperszaak.
Goed zwart/wit beeld
Nog een prettige dag verder,
John

Hello Elaine,
I'm sure you don't resemble Gandalf but I know what you mean about hair becoming too long! I'm afraid hairdressers were closed before I was able to use my appointment!
Your photograph is sharp and very journalistic in its content!
I might have been tempted to crop the reflections on the right and concentrate on the hairdresser's customer. She has disposable gown, plastic hair cover and mask ... all for protection but not from your camera! Oh, I forgot to add, she is protected from germs by not having a magazine but she does have her mobile phone!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Elaine,
What a clash of details! This one is really full of everything. Luckily the large version gives a better view of all of them. Yes, the mask attaches this view to current days. And catches attention. I like it but don't love it.
