Great crested grebe!, a photo from Gelderland, North

I was lucky to be able to take pictures of this nest of grebes just outside Nijkerk near the mill Hertog Reijnout in the late evening sunlight.
Improved in PSP.

Hi Albrecht,
The mirror clear water surface is perfectly captured. Good rhythm created by the reeds and nice POV and colours. The late evening light is just superb and harmonized with the resting grebes. Brilliant shot!! Regards and a good weekend.

A beautiful natur shot. Glassy waters giving a reflection that melts into reality - hard to see where it actually starts. The colours are gorgeous and the bird well placed to the left of the scene.

funny to see this floating nest ! the colors are very nice, and the reflection in the water gives a painting like scene. good light on the birds' feathers.

Hi Albrecht,
A lovely nature shot. Good to have got them in their natural habitat. Nicely composed with their surroundings fully visible. Good colours and sharpness.
