oke, I'll rpomise to go back to work, but last one from the series 'office garden'. I work for tv and the piano was placed in the garden and about to be pushed in the lake for an experiment for a scientific program (how does a piano sound under water). The swan apperently felt attracted and I thougth it made a beautiful, surreal scenery.

Very sureal scene, Femke. A piano near the pond, a musical swan. and everything is under your office window.

Push the piano into the pond? I am worried about this piano, and about the pond, and abpout the poor swan.

These moments are the surprising twists of reality, the only thing you need is the right mindset, the eyes of a photographer and your camera to capture these kind of shots. You combined here very well a few elements that individually are -for some at least- daily life subjects. The result is what reminds me of a Dutch style from the twenties and thirties called "Magisch Realisme" that best can be described as a photorealistic painting style with surreal elements or atmospheres. For many years I have been hooked up with these kind of paintings... Thanks for bringing back those memories...

Hmmm... Oh yes, about your picture, I love it, my only suggestion would be a crop just above the piano to get rid of the bright areas in the upper part. It lets the viewer focus much more on the three main subjects, the swan, the piano and the soon to be a lake with a piano and a pianoplayer at the bottom of the lake...

So, how does a piano sound underwater... And if there is no one there to hear it, does it make a sound...;-)
Only in the world of tv do people try this kind of stunt..
