Photographer's Note

For my Theme “My Postcards for YOU…” here a “clin d’oeil” to Dominique - ;o)))

This painting – Blue and Green – was one of a serie of 5 paintings made by Ellsworth Kelly, an American minimalist painter and sculptor, born in 1923.

[I don’t know yet much about this artist, somebody does? Please let me know]

It’s not a spectacular picture, I agree, but there ARE PEOPLE on it! ;o)))

We saw this painting while visiting the Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterlo where you can enjoy Vincent Van Gogh’s collection, with 93 paintings and 183 drawings, superb works by Renoir, Seurat, Monet, Cezanne, Gauguin, Picasso, Gris, Courbet, Corot, Millet, Léger, Mondrian, and many, many more…

Also the Sculpture Garden is a wonderful and enchanting place.

Techn: Not any other post-processing than cropping - no frame this time has it was meant for Dominique... ;o)
