Culturally, Amsterdam is known for many things - Anne Frank, Rembrandt, van Gogh - but one of the striking pieces of architecture you discover as you leave the Central Station is de Fietsenflat, or "Bicycle Flat".
As a tourist, you cannot but be taken in by the multi-storey bike-park and, with one four times the size due to be constructed close by, the scale of this one is set to be dwarfed!
