Photographer's Note

Traditional clogs (in Dutch: "klompen") were made out of willow or poplar wood and are associated with the Netherlands, where they are seen as a form of national dress. Clogs are also associated with Sweden, but they are different from Dutch clogs.
Today, Dutch clogs are a popular tourist souvenir and are available in all sizes - from fingernail small to.... well, the limit must be something like this, but who knows ;-) This clog was displayed at the entrance of one of the souvenir shops and visibly enjoyed human interest.
