The sun is gone! In Northern Norway there is no visible sun at all for 60 days, it is gone beyond the horizont from 21.november until 21. january.

Welcome to TE, Rolf. Very interensting picture and note. I didin't know it! Very good combination of red and grey. Someone is heating the sky! The contrast between the clam lake and the violent sky is interesting. Nice!

Welcome to TE, Rolf. Excellent first posting with this sunset, the colors are just awesome. Very nice effect with the reflection on the water surface and the silhouette-like snow-covered mountains in between. Hope to see more of your shots from Norway, it's such a beautiful country.

Nice first picture on TE Rolf. The low horizon works well and the colour setting is great. The reflection in the sea adds to the total impression.

A sunset with typical unpredictable colours and patterns.The reflection adds to the dramatical atmosphere ,you have succeeded in bringing us over there to watch it.

This photo has quite a few things I like. Awesome light, reflected in the water and beautifully coloured clouds. Fire in the sky and then the sun is off to other places. This is a very nice way to remember the last sunrays.

Very nice picture! It's pretty hard to properly expose a sunset: the suroundings of the sun must not be overexposed and we must still see some details in the shadow. You did well on that one. I guess that with the time it takes to the sun to set there, you had enough time to try many exposure/aperture possibilities!

The low level clouds really give another dimension to that picture...
