Photographer's Note

I think this picture captures the beauty of the norwegian fjords in june. Taken on a trip with my sea-kayak in the Kvinnherad Fjord (part of the Hardanger Fjord). This was a beatutiful day; hardly any wind, and the sun was shining all the time :-)

Still aching from exercising how to get into the kayak in case of a roll on Saturday, how could I resist this picture. I love the fjords and I love kayaking....

A good depth in this thanks to the foreground and I also find the diagonal angle of the kayak and the crossing paddle good for the composition, the play of lines is dynamic. Just one little problem - using the full 800 pixels allowed on the height makes it hard to see the full picture, the practical limit is more like 700.

Very nice and clear picture... I like the strong red color against all this natural beauty... Composition and reflections work real good here... TFS...Ina...

Lovely shot, and composition here Svein,
The image is sharp, the colors are natural.Reflections on the water are nice too , despite we see the wind is affecting the surface in a distance.
We just wish we could jump in that kayak and discover the fjord ourselves.

One point: Please put a note for us. It will be appreciated by all, I am sure.

Svein, very nice shot, sharply taken and colorful. The scene is very poetic, i am sure that people will like more, may be in a few days. The background looks great and the water reflections are nice.
