Lets step back in time, to July 2020! This photo could well be much older, except for that sign advertising all kinds of ultra modern methods of payment, and that bottle of Handdes. This little shop is in The Norwegian Museum of Cultural History (Norsk Folkemuseum).

Hi Kari,in fact there are small modern elements of disturbance, but the atmosphere is really that of a jump back of 100 years, beautiful little shop inside the museum and even the girl seems to come out of a storybook, surely they too will have suffered of the tourism crisis. Hello Kari,
I visited this museum more than eight years ago as well, so I might have some photos of this old shop as well. Good lighting, which reveals the merchandise well. The shopkeeper is well included too, smiling into the camera in a friendly way.

Hello Kari,
Except for a few details this is like a step in time 100 years back. Maybe the disinfectant was there because of the Spanish flu. Whatever, it's a nice photo, and the saleslady looks like she is used to posing for photographers.

Hello kari, I was also in this Open Air Museum and I liked the old shops, and gas station, and the reconstructed scenes. Strange that I haven't posted any photos, I liked the place. Nice trip in the past (almost). Best regrads MAlgo

I saw similar spaces in USA and namibia, it is nice they preserved the old shops and here even the girl is dressed as in the old times. excellent image.

Hello Kari,

Apart from the hand wash, in the f/g, I could easily have been persuaded that this was a much older photograph!

You have composed the shop scene very well.
The counter is a nicely angled, the shop assistant is strongly positioned and the right angled corner of the building is situated neatly on the thirds line.

Hello Kari, a delightful scene of this old style shop.
Maybe you could have cloned out the bottle of sanitiser, but then the title wouldnt fit the shot.
I always find old fashioned shops interesting, maybe because shopping is something that has to be done, and its lovely to compare.

Hi Kari,
I have recently watched again the movie "Back to the Future". This feels a bit like that. We have few places like that in North East England, quite an interesting idea and especially valuable for children.
