Henningsvaer's reflection, a photo from Nordland, North

Photographer's Note

After 9 days aboard the M/S Lofoten (one of the Hurtigruten boat) along the coasts of Norway, my friend and I left the ship in the town of Svolvaer, in the Lofoten Islands. We stayed there for 3 days and rented a car to travel within the Lofoten.

We were lucky enough to have three days of incredible weather, and discover the Lofoten in perfect conditions: sunlight, snow on the mountains (fast melting) that gave beautiful sceneries, very very few tourists... It was just magical.

Here is the town of Henningsvaer, with a typical feel of what we have seen during 3 days: mountains with snow, colorful houses, fishing boats, great blue sky, water reflections, wonderful light...

We were staying in Svolvaer and Henningsvaer was the goal of our first day of travel. We almost didn't make it! :^) It's only 35 km away from Svolvaer, but we stopped so many times on the way to look at other landscapes and take scores of picture, that we arrived in Henningsvaer only in the evening... Lucky for us that the days are long in this season.

Sérénité, beauté !!! la lumičre sublime, la mer souvent comme un miroir quand elle est protégée de la houle de l'Atlantique nord, les montagnes dans la mer... voilŕ pourquoi j'aime tant la côte norvégienne.

Ta composition est vraiment trčs bien faite et puis ce bleu !!!!

Salut Sophie,
Je n'ai ete qu'une fois en Norvege, meme pas de photo a poster :-( mais ce qui m'a beaucoup plu la bas c'est de voir de la neige en bord de mer, ca donne tout de suite un style particulier. Jolie vue ici avec une bonne luminosite et une jolie reflection, c'est beau, calme et surtout rafraichissant !

Quelle superbe composition. Les couleurs et les reflets sont magnifiques. Tout paraît pur et serein. J'ai visité cet endroit pendant un été et ce n'était pas mal non plus.

Wow, Lofoten islands, my dream!...

A gorgeous composition with reflections here, Sophie. The perspective of the houses leads the eye to the mountains. The reds balance the dark mountain colours nicely.

En regardant ta photo, on comprends aisément pourquoi les Lofoten ont été classées parmi les plus belles iles du monde
je presumes que tu as des photos du village d'Are ?

Cette image respire la serénnité! Avoir saisi la reflection de l'ensemble du décor dans l'eau trčs calme de ce port norvégien est une excellente idée. J'aime la composition avec ces bateaux colorés au premier plan !
Une excellente image rafraichissante !

C'est vraiment éclatant ; c'est ce qui s'appelle en prendre plein les yeux, et ce bleu !
On voit un petit bateau au premier plan : les pęcheurs plaisanciers, ça marche donc aussi lŕ-bas ?

Evidemment, c'est superbe ! Les Lofoten avec le soleil, un peu de neige et une eau lisse pour doubler la beauté du panorama deviennent alors sublimes, tu preches un convaincu, tu t'en doutes !

pffffou que c'est beau ... et ce n'est que la version ecran ... le resultat sur papier doit ętre bluffant.
Seul petit regret (et tu n'y peux pas grand chose) c'est la difficulté a cerner les bateaux blancs sur ce fond blanc ...

Ce bleu lŕ, je ne l'ai pas vu au delŕ du cercle polaire et je me souviendrai ŕ jamais de la traversée de Bodo ŕ Moskenes en ferry... C'était le jour de mon anniversaire et la mer était démontée aprčs une tempęte. Tant que le ferry était dans le sens des vagues, je supportais la houle mais une fois que le capitaine a décidé de faire 90° pour se mettre contre le vagues afin d'aller vers le bon cap, je n'ai pas échappé au mal de mer (comme 95% des passagers)... Enfin, cela s'est bien terminé mais il faut aussi noter que cette traversé a pris 5 heures au lieu de 4!

En tout cas, les reflets sont magnifiques et il faudra que je retourne en Norvčge pour voir les Lofoten dans ces conditions (qui étaient quand męme celle pour la partie sud des Fjords)

me revoilŕ ! Les galeries ont bien évolué, et vous avez tous posté des images magnifiques... C'est vraiment sympa de parcourir vos collections respectives.
