Kasia mentioned under my photo (Zakopane II) that the 'Kantor' is the quintessential of Poland. For me it appeared that 'Lody' can be seen as often as Kantor.

Hello György,
I first thought "nothing special", but I quickly changed my mind when looking closer. You are right, I also had the feeling that Poles seemed to be eating more ice cream than I had seen anywhere else. So with this lively and colourful photo you have probably captured the soul of the Polish nation. ;-)

Hi Gyorgy,

Your pictures revive my memories from the very old time. There was a famous Hortex cafe in Zakopane with fantastic ice-cream.There were always big queues. Now the ice cream is everywhere. Here they are "natural". Excellent picture and I am glad that this time it is in colour.

I like the narrow composition you chose, which nicely includes and excludes some parts of people's bodies into the frame. It is a very lively photo in front of the cafe.

Agreed! :-) Maybe even more often. Kantor is for Polish people working abroad coming to visit the "old country". Lody are for everyone. Hmmm... actually these two groups of people are probably of similar size... :-p
You keep hitting the nail on the head with capturing the icons of Poland: oscypek, kantor, goral, lody... It makes me wait in anticipation what you're going to upload next.
