Photographer's Note
Man and His Love
The way the man fed his two horses told me clearly that he loved the animals, his farm, his decaying and collapsing house which he want to disassamble soon.
There was no visible sign of prosperity but he brought some sugar from his house and fed the horses which danced around him with grace. Seemingly they love the man too.

Hi Jerzy - Supert TE post, a great farm shot with the cute "couple" on foreground (my first thought was "is this guy single or married?") and the background with the right amount of blur, not interfering with the main subject, and still we get a very good idea of the houses and other elements. Regards, Daniel

Witaj, Jerzy!
Bardzo fajna, sielska scena. Rzeczywiście, konie często bywaja wielką miłością ich właścicieli, znam kilku takich... Dobrze dobrany tytuł, ciekawy portret obu "modeli". No i ta przestrzeń w tle...
pozdrawiam,
Grzesiek

You have developed such a distinctive visual style by now, Jerzy. I should say a "visual language" - these coppery, silvery colors, the sharpness, the placement of your main subject way off to the side. It produces a kind of hyper-reality that reminds me of these hyper-real paintings, almost photographic in their detail from the 70's I think...
Does one realize one has a style. What do you think, J? Is it a conscious thing or a natural evolution.
I really like this latest environmental portrait, and the fine note that goes with it.
Best wishes,
Francis

Witaj Jurku,
Pozdrawiam,
Jurek

Treść - wzruszająca. Technika - wyborna. Kompozycja - nonszalancka. Ale artystom się to wybacza.

Masterpiece of warmth, humanity, love for your country, its people and their life.
Masterpiece of photography in its purest form.
This image provides the reason why the photography still exists.

Hello Jerzy
A yes I remember him!! You have done a wonderful job capturing him and his horse, the contrast is really good as is the framing.
Thanks for the technique, I think it wil be very useful. I still havent had any time to look over the photos, (plus I wanted to see other photos in order to better identify the places) Nicely done
Regards
Daniel

Czesc Jerzy. Great shot, I like the background a lot, very rural, very fitting. The man has a great expression with his crooked glasses. And of course, standing beside his companion makes this a double portrait. Pozdrawiam.
