Photographer's Note

This is one of the many soviet parafenilia found at the soviet style bar in East Poland with Jack, Jerzy and Marek last weekend. I Couldnt resist the Ketchup analogy due to the strong colour. The colour is as is with no PP.

Well, as I commented on Jerzy's shot from the same bar, I just love this stuff, can't think way, I suppose because it's such an anachronism these days. Interesting that both your shots feature Lenin. I can't quite make out what this thing is, but I like the semi abstract result.

Vivid colors ,nice compo and contrast.And strong subject. I am sure Lennin did not imagine to be portrayed in bars with a chicken poxed :) face. That is life.Photographer is who catch it up nicely and bring it to a sharable point with others.Like you did. Thanks.

This is a fantastic find Daniel - I love the inclusion of the thorns - it looks almost as if Lenin had worn a bloodied crown - very symbolic of this fallen 'idol' - powerful colours and a great composition - best wishes Kev

An amazing piece of art, well presented. I like the thorns of the rosebush on the side - most fitting and the blood red imagery. The cropping and framing is also first rate. This is very fine work.

This is the right day to see a picture like this. The first of May still exist but is stripped of its old sentiment. Although a day to remember for there is a lot to improve for the workers in many places of the world.

I've seen you were on the road together and this one I like most of you for the clear coloring, a tight crop, makes you wonder a bit about the environment where you found this.
