Brzeziny - Historic fire station from 1920.

Brzeziny is a village in Kalisz County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Brzeziny. It lies approximately 40 kilometres east of Ostrów Wielkopolski.

now this is just too good! Imagine this being a new Fire Station today :) It looks like a small church, not a fire station. what a great subject! All the windows are boarded up, that's too bad, i'd love to see the interior. cheers

Krzysztof, that historic fire station in wood must be preserved. It is a value vestige of the last century. The balcony at the first floor adds some charm. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

Hello Krzysztof,
The view is slightly disturbed by the wires, but it's a very pretty building. I would not have expected this to be a fire station. All this old wood could easily start burning. ;-) I agree with Craig that it looks more like a church. I hope it is protected by law from being deliberately pulled down.

This is the most unusual fire station that I have seen. It resembles a chalet, being made of wood and with this Dutch barn, style roof. What an interesting building!
You have shown the details sharply and with good colours.

I might have been tempted to clone out the wires.

A charming old rustic fire station with good sharpness and framing. The reddish burgundy color of the painted wooden exterior contrasts well with the blue sky. Tfs!

there were many houses like this in my town when I was a kid, it was a heritage from central europe, a pity all of them were lost forever. a nice view. anyway our had no tower.
