Park Sołack
Enklawa zieleni na Sołaczu, pomiędzy ulicami Małopolską i Litewską. Jej powierzchnia wynosi 14,6 ha. Budowę parku rozpoczęto w 1908 r., publiczności został udostępniony w 1911 r.; prace wykończeniowe trwały do 1913 r. Autorem projektu był Hermann Kube, ówczesny dyrektor Ogrodów Miejskich. Parkowi nadano charakter krajobrazowy, jego głównymi akcentami są dwa stawy powstałe przez spiętrzenie strumienia Bogdanka (rzeka i strumienie). Nad jednym z nich - w budynku przeniesionym ze zorganizowanej w 1911 r. Wystawy Wschodnioniemieckiej Przemysłu, Rzemiosła i Rolnictwa - otwarto w 1912 r.okazałą restaurację. Budynek ten był wielokrotnie przebudowywany, obecnie mieści się w nim hotel "Meridian". W 1913 r. park uzyskał połączenie tramwajowe ze śródmieściem. Do dziś przy ul. Małopolskiej istnieje ustawiona wówczas drewniana poczekalnia tramwajowa (tzw. Zielona budka). Ciekawy jest drzewostan parku; oprócz gatunków krajowych rosną w nim drzewa egzotyczne, m.in. choina kanadyjska, cypryśnik błotny, daglezja.
Od kilku lat park poddawany jest gruntownym pracom renowacyjnym.

This is a fine autumn colors shot. Your composition is nice using the path to lead the eye through the shot. The man walking adds a nice point of interest for the scene. The lighting and colors are great as is the photo's sharpness.

pogodny bardzo ten park i złota jesień wszechobecna.
