the Shrine actually looks like a huge Chess Piece :)
especially when viewed up close like this.
nice to have the bg subjects to fill out the frame, same with the tree branches which seem to be protecting the shrine from any sort of danger lurking :)

Excellent symmetrical framing puts this interesting and, for me, unusual pillar shrine very well evidence. Very good management of the light and shadow contrasts with fine colours and clarity.

A pity in Belgium are much Pillar shrine wayside removed.
An excellent panoramic view too.

Un monument qui est vraiment trčs impressionnant. La contre plongée et le cadrage lui donne de l'ampleur et utilisent bien le ciel comme arričre plan.

I like how you have juxtaposed the shrine next to the tree, emphasising its height and stature and really adding to its presence. It is a very imposing wayside shrine and appears to have some very unusual, orange artwork.

The shrine is attractive, but in a way I like even more the view on the sides towards the different buildings and the people walking in the street. The pattern created by the tree against the sky is also beautiful.

This is an impressive monument in Janowiec. You've chosen a good angle to photograph the monument from the corner of the base, showing ideal two-point perspective.

A beautiful upwards view of this huge pillar shrine, well presented on that background of leafless branches.
On the right we see a remarkable building with a dome, perhaps a part of the castle you've presented before.

Are these shrines a normal sight in Poland? They are quite rare in Australia and usually to do with commemorating the war. I like how you got up close to it and used the wide angle lens to full effect. The light conditions look to have been quite challenging, so you did really well to avoid areas of deep shadow. Excellent work, thanks for sharing.
