Wooden church of dedicated to Saint Thecla, built by the carpenter Antoni Wilczerowicz in 1778, enlarged in 1834, with Rococo furnishings by Franciszek Eytner, paintings by Augustyn Kierblewski from 1780–1782 in the altar.

Dobrzyca is a town in Pleszew County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Dobrzyca. It lies approximately 40 kilometres nordwest of Ostrów Wielkopolski.

Hello Krzysztof,
I saw you had just posted a photo so I had to hurry up so we could be neighbours as usual. ;-)
This is obviously a very nice wooden church and an impressive work of craftsmanship. The focus of the photo is just as much the beautiful large bush with yellow flowers. The bush and the church make a fine combination in this clear and well exposed photo.

Punchy light contrasts with formidable sharpness abd nice lighting on the fg tree with the bg is deep shade. Plenty of 'breathing space' right around too. Tfs!

This is a really well composed photograph, nicely angled, with a natural guide from the f/g to the well positioned spire.
The voluminous shrub gives f/g interest, before we concentrate more fully on the wooden church.

Urocza drewniana swiatynia. Ladnie zaprezentowana z zielenia w lewym dolnym rogu. Przyjemna dla oka asymetria. Interesujaca wieza, nie widzialem jeszcze takiej.
Pogoda tym razem dopisala.
Postanowilem sie nie przejmowac juz tymi kolorami i jasnoscia, choc czasm mnie jeszcze kusi sprobowac z ta kalibracja monitora ale za duzo roznych ekranow uzywam zeby wszystko kalibrowac...

lovely the small towers adding a look of a church. in some aspects looks the church where I was baptized.
