Wooden church of dedicated to Saint Thecla, built by the carpenter Antoni Wilczerowicz in 1778, enlarged in 1834, with Rococo furnishings by Franciszek Eytner, paintings by Augustyn Kierblewski from 1780–1782 in the altar.

Dobrzyca is a town in Pleszew County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Dobrzyca. It lies approximately 40 kilometres nordwest of Ostrów Wielkopolski.

Bardzo urokliwe wnetrze brazowy kolor nadaje pewna szezcgolna atmosfere. Kiedys robilem zdjecia na slubie w takim wlasnie ciemnym kosciele a slub byl jeszcze po zmroku...wyniki nie byly zbyt ciekawe. Ale dla samego wnetrze to na pewno cos oryginalnego. Swietny pomyslzeby zrobic to spod choru. Masz dzieki temu interesujace naturalne obramowanie.

The length of the nave is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the interior of the St.Thecia church. The light is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

You chose a lovely angle between the benches, with the carpet that us lead to the altar.
Low ceiling but a lovely altar in depth.

It's a fine, interior shot, where the receding, wooden pillars create a good sense of perspective, whilst the central, red carpet creates an irresistible guide.

The red carpet leads into this indoor shot effectively, asymmetry that balances filled by the serenity. Love its cool exposure level, mild tones and soothing colours with plenty of detail to keep one's eye busy. A fine lens work beautifully captured. Congrats

The ceiling seems to me to be remarkably very low. At least for a church. Here we only know churches where the ceilings are very high.
With the abundance of wood, the carpet and the colours, this church interior has something cozy.
Good sharp and clear presentation.
