Photographer's Note

During a bicycle trip I found such a monument in the forest, dedicated to a forester.
I don't know the history, but the cross is impressive.

The vicinity of village Kozminiec.
Kozminiec is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dobrzyca, within Pleszew County, Greater Poland Voivodeship. It lies approximately 25 km nord-west of Ostrów Wielkopolski.

I like this cross and small monument that look like they are almost rising from the ground. It has a fine simplicity making it look like part of nature. It would have been a surprise to find it in the forest and the photo is very nice.

A strange location in the forest but what a find. The aged cross unmistakably stands out within the serene lush greenery in crisp balance summer light and shades. Excellent snap

I think not that the cross are very old, may be younger than the tomb.
Completely in concrete with nice figures
Pleasant detailed too.

Witaj Krzysztof,

You seem to be able to find lots of these monuments, whilst on your cycle rides but this may be a little more unusual. The cross, being supported by a hill of small stones, looks as if it rising from the earth.
I like the setting of trees, especially as this monument is dedicated to a forester, and the lovely dappled light.

The cross carved into the shapes of 2 logs is an unusual sight. Good sharpness and a tranquil forest setting. Excellent lighting and sharpness. Tfs!

A bit of an unusual monument but it fits perfectly in this natural environment.
Actually this is a splendid forest picture taken in a more beautiful time of the year.
I like the perfect sharp capture of the branches and the foliage. Different tones of green and good contrast between light and shadow.
