This chapel is located at the westernmost end of Sao Miguel / Azores.
It was the moment when the last light hit the church before the approaching thunderstorm.
Taken from the crater rim of Lagoa Azul, around which there is a footpath.

Wonderful full view of sky and sea and the small bright focus of the chapel. Must be quite a view from the mountain rim. The contrast of dark to center light works great. well done drt100 David
