Photographer's Note
In the 19th century azorean immigrants arrived in Hawaii with their traditional guitars, which would become the ukulele, one of the symbols of Hawaii.
In the 21th century hawaiians arrived in the Azores with some other of their symbols, as visible in the photo, including the mock flag.
In fact their visit was about another one of their symbols, this time a real one, and now also seen every day in the Azores, as explained in first lines here

Uma foto interessante, sobretudo quando percebemos que năo estamos no Havai mas nos Açores.
Excelente enquadramento, boa luz, bons detalhes e "vę-se" o ligeiro ondular das bandeiras, assim como algumas particularidades dos jovens que tornam ainda mais natural a foto.
