Good morning, dear Members,

Here is a view of the Caldera of the Sete Cidades volcano on the island of Săo Miguel in the Azores.

In the centre of this magnificent volcano are the two lakes called "Lagoa Azul" which we can clearly see here and "Lagoa Verde".

Legend has it that these two lakes were formed when a princess and a young shepherd fell in love. The tears shed at the time of their farewells gave birth to lakes the colour of their eyes.
