Funchal.

Among the gardens of Funchal, some are less exuberant, more discreet. From the cable car from Funchal to Monte, you fly over these few patches of vegetable gardens. Enclosed in deep ravines, steep, not always easily accessible, these gardens demonstrate the willingness of Madeiran to cultivate any plot to enjoy "homemade" vegetables.

Hi Delphine,
very nice the panoramic view of the place with the tight frame to brings out the details of the cultivated land.
The small private gardens is an excellent documantary for the life of the natives.

Bonjour Delphine, belle vue de ces jolis petits jardins, magnifiquement composées et capturés par un POV avec une trčs bonne et belle photo. Tu as su profiter d'un point de vue spectaculaire pour nous montrer cette petite rue dans les jardins.C'est presque devenu un village avec toutes ces cabanes.

Une vue large du câble, qui met en évidence ces jardins sur de petites parcelles, me surprend ces petites maisons toutes pareilles, je pense que ce sera pour ranger les outils.
Trčs belles couleurs, ces nuances naturelles.
Trčs bien équilibré éclairage, avec la netteté.
Bien fait. Je l'aime.

This is a breath taking shot depicting topography of the garden from exciting aerial viewpoint and overwhelmingly special watching deep below enhancing the height and depth. Lots of natural deep earthy and green colours to savour the eyes and full of well seen highlights. The treatment works very well here, a fine effort and a graceful shot, Congrats, TFS

Hello Delphine,
This is an original composition from an unusual perspective. I have taken a few pictures of people in streets or squares from a bird's eye view, but never garden plots from above. I think this gives us an entirely different perception of this area than a photo from the ground could ever create. The small houses and small gardens create a very interesting pattern and tell us a lot about life in this area.

Hello Delphine,
it is true that these gardens are more modest than the one presented before in your photos, but nevertheless you managed to captured them in very pretty way. The very high POV helped to focus on the geometrical structure of the flower and vegetable beds with the narrow path running through the parcels. The tiny sheds add some variety to the image. Lovely colors, light and well given sharpness.

Bonjour Delphine ,
Il semble qu'il s'agisse ici de ce qu'on nomme chez nous "jardins ouvriers" . Avec un petit cabanon pour chaque jardinier . Dans la pente abrupte , le résultat visuel est intéressant .
