Photographer's Note
The title is a bit stronger but that´s the name of this sea-gull, she is very popular among fishermen and almost every other people who like to have their sunday´s walk on the beach!
This picture was taken at "Cristal Palace" in Porto, and yes it´s a small copy of the British and famous Cristal Palace, althought this as a new name nowadays, it´s call Pavilhăo Rosa Mota in honor of a huge atletism racer we had in the 80´s! I spent the day taking pictures and this one was at my arrival. I saw the sea-gull landing on the iron banister and went straight to her. I pointed my F-717 to her, zoomed a little and "BANG", took the shot! My surprise came when i uploaded the pictures to my PC and noticed she was missing one leg. Then everybody i talked to about, told me she was "The Cripple", a very famous sea-gull!

Very fine capture of this (now world wide) famous sea-gull ;-) I like the angle you got her in and the light coming from the side. I can't figure out what's sitting on the fence as the missing foot ?
Good work Bruno.

Otimo enquadramento, fundo, luz. Parabéns !!

Good photo Bruno and indeed when I shaw this shot in the first place I saw immediately the missing leg. I had that once by a photo of a sheep, During the making of the photo I did not see the three legs, but on the pc I saw it. Nice colours and nice composition too, and a good note. well done

I can't help but feel a bit sad for this litle gull. But it seems as if it's doing ok. World famous and all :) Truly a vrey nice catch. Have to go in to my seagull theme.

Poor seagul with a leg missing... but very well framed and i like also the contrast between this bird and the background. Well done!

Bruno-we have a very similar looking gull here which I cannot capture yet because I don't bring the camera everywhere I go . The optical zoom to works perfectly . I like the colors. I did a workshop to try and highlight the bird , without success I'm afraid . But I kept it in any way .
