Photographer's Note
Location: This is the Ursa beach located near Cabo da Roca (the western most point of Europe) which is only about 35 kilometers west of Lisbon, however, a pretty strenuous hike is required to reach the beach.

Hello Ryan!
I'm wowed by this picture! The place looks gorgeous and the photograph is excellent regarding sharpness, low pov, exposure, depth of field, colors and composition! The fg, the bg, not a single spot I look at and don't think it's wonderful!
TFS - congratulations!
Best regards,

Hello Ryan,
You succeeded really a very good shot. All is good: the light, the composition well balanced between foreground and background and the long time shutter to get the blur on the waves.
The photo gives the wish to visit this place.

Hello,
Very nice composition with warm colours and great depth of field. I like this blurred water effect which is perfectly balanced with the rest of the image. Great contrasts between sky and sun-lit rocks.

Ryan,
What a startalingly odd collection of rocky pinnacles you've portrayed in this shot. Hard to imagine how it all fits together!
As per usual, an excellent quality shot.
Cheers

Hi Ryan.
Good to have you here with a photo of my Portugal!
I really like this one. Luis Afonso also has some photos from Ursa, but all photos are different. It's about the way we look at the places, we all have different approaches. In your case the day light adds a good mood to the scene. You choose a good exposure and the colors really pop to the eyes. Excellent vertical composition.
I really like it! Regards,
Márcio Costa

hi Ryan,
the lond exposure works really well to create a feeling that it is not a water, but some sort of plant with long while petals streaming over the rocks, I like a lot this effect, especially how it makes the water mirror the sea weeds in the foreground. nice :)

Kristine

Hello Ryan,
Very nice! The harsh rocks in the distance, the softer greens in the foreground. The exposure giving a nice view of the water over the rocks in the foreground. Very nice!

Hi Ryan,
This wonderful shot seems a mix of the Portuguese coast with the West American deserts.

So many things going on in this picture. Round rocks and square-edged cliffs, green, red and white surfaces, monochrome blue sky and moving white water. All this makes this image interesting and puts it outside of the rock-sand-water-spectacular-sky box.

Hi Ryan.
About time I had a look in your gallery again, even if several weeks after this was uploaded.
I think it's a potent seascape, a mixture of sharply defined rocks and smooth water, topped off by the sudden contrast in colour of the foreground rock with its seaweed cover. The CPL made a nice gradient in the sky and added richness to the colour of the rocks. Wonderful exposure of light and shadows - I just wish it were a little bigger. The sense of depth is amazing.

Andrw

Hi Ryan:
Very similar shot to an earlier post of yours of Ursa, but I like this one better. The light's better, for one, and I like the green moss on the rock as it adds more variety. Great work, as always. Nothing to complain about. Thanks for sharing.

Do I know this?..yes sir...
A very dynamic pov, with the waves crushing in the rocks.
Those cliffs are really awesome, must go back there soon, and you chose well the green foreground moss. Great as usual...you should post more ;-D

A nice chaotic seascape.
The right shutter speed for me, not too long to keep the bustle of the water and not too short to give this nice smoothing effect.
Beautiful gallery by the way.
