Photographer's Note

This photo was taken in my return to home after a week at Faial a very beautiful Portuguese archipelago called Azores of nine islands situated in the vast Atlantic ocean somewhere half a way between Europe and North America.

NOTE: The title is a Weekend PAUSE and not a STOP. Only a not repetitive sequence like WE have in common life and eating in the same restaurant in a daily basis.

So, this is a airview and approaching angle of Lisbon to the South border of Tagus River. Here you can see the main bridge "25th April" a similar artwork like in S.Francisco and another important monument at your right the "Cristo Rei = King Christ".

This is from my land approach at Lisbon airport just a little mini-seconds of ground contact, taken by the window of a Jetplain Airbus 310.

This is not finished about Azores, but this is a voyage and for now a little Pause. So I will post next days another pictures of these beautiful Atlantic Island with great mountains, sea scenery, cows and volcanic lagoons, cheese and tea, pinneaple and flowers, that I will try to catalog in different selective ways to post next weeks.

This photo is also a approach to take shots from a airplane and was taken withe some bright sun conditions because the sun was backwards and lightning in my focus.

You can see a nice picture of this voyage here: Link

In My Info You can see two additional WS's taken a few minutes of this one. The first WS1 is a indoor or interior capture of the plain and the WS2 the Airport baggage local space.

ADITIONAL NOTE: ISO = 73 and Focal Lenght = 38mm, no cropping for composition and only a little of contrast.

Thanks to ALL of YOU and I hope that YOU also like this approach, from a point of knowledge, culture, voyage and share ideas, peoples and moments in life.

The best to you all.
Fernando
