Photographer's Note

Hello again, my TE friends!

Today I bring to you a parcial view of the Monserrate Palace, located in the Monserrate Park (in Monte-da-Lua – Sintra).
This amazing palace had been constructed between 1860 and 1863, by order of Francis Cook, under James Knowles Jr ‘s project (a british architect).
In dimensions, it corresponds to a previous palace, with neo-classic lines, constructed on that same place in 1791, by order of Gerard Devisne.
The actual palace constructed in the 19th century, represents a unique case of romantism in Portugal, with some oriental inspirations, and it is completely surrounded by the luxurious and impressive vegetation of the Monserrate Park.

I really hope you like it, my cherished friends!
