"Arum Lily" in Monte da Lua, a photo from Lisboa, South

Photographer's Note

Hi everyone!

Today I return to Monte-da-Lua and his gorgeous vegetation. Specifically, I bring back the Monserrate Park and its exotic and lush gardens.
Has Ive said you before, this gardens are very rich in flora species, and here we can see a very common specie in Monte-da-Lua: Arum Lily.
In the background, we can see the characteristic autumnal colors in a very rich carpet of dry leaves all over the ground, as its common at this time of the year in this lovely sierra.

This environment looks semitropical. I like the colors of the plants and the good focus on the plant on the foreground. You managed to get good definition in this picture. Nice work Rosa.

Not an easy shot to take. Good use of a differential or selective focus, to isolate the fg lily & emphasise close up detail. Excellent color & fg sharpness. Perhaps I'd go for a tighter crop? Tfs!

A good close up of this plant I love especially when it is in blossom. Good colours, above all the green of the leaf.

The beauty of the lily amidst the autumn colours is well conveyed. I might have cropped a little on either side to bring in the main subject just a little. The clarity of detail is good, and the exposure level just right. Well captured, Rosa...later.

A good nature study. The picture is well captured and technically very good as we can see the detail on the leaf very well. The dof is good too as you have thrown the background out of focus in good proportion. Nice framing and exposure.
