The Calouste Gulbenkian Planetarium / Live Science Centre is located in one of the most touristic
and beautiful quarter in Lisboa: Belém, integrated in the architectonic set of the Jerónimos Monastery.

The building was built in 1965 under the project of the architect Frederico George, integrating the Marine Museum, dedicated to Astronomy and all its sciences.

Following the new technologies, the Planetarium exhibits daily commented projections about the Cosmos and the role and evolution that Men has in it. It is possible to observe a projected sky with about 9.000 stars and the Milky Way.

The Planetarium also promotes thematic and promotional sessions as well as other pedagogic activities.

Trčs beau plan large. Le pavé coloré et en damier męne le regard vers cette belle structure. Le ciel est magnifique.

molto bello il modo in cui hai costruito quet'immagine, la pavimentazione in primo piano da un bell'effetto, perfettamente bilanciata da un cielo stupendo, con la costruzione lŕ in mezzo fulcro della composizione. complimenti.

A building i missed during my visits in Lissabon. Well presented from a central point of vierw, and honouring also the beautiful Portuguese tiling of the plaza.

Ola Aires, I remeber this building and probably have photos of it . But I was not inside. As often in Portugal the pavement is the most impressive here.
