This was quite difficult to photograph was too dark and could not find a focus point, so it was not the best possible focus, but liked the end result.

Feast day in Paradela Guiaes of the night was a candlelight procession in honor of the patron saint of the village.

Interessante o efeito que fica no ceu com essas exposiçőes noturnas grandes (22 segundos aqui). Penso que deve ter sido dificil voc~e chegar nessa definiçăo de fotometria.

Ola Goncalo,
I think a 22sec. exposure is just too long time for movement-scene in night - I'd shorten time exposed ( maybe 4,5,6), and raize to F8 +/-.
Anyway, when there is some movement - It'd be difficult to stabilze - but neverthles, good try and I like the moon illuminating from above.

you have handled the difficult light very well to produce a very atmospheric picture.The two crosses lean towardes the illuminated church as if to draw our attention to the people gathered there.The dark trees surrounding the church and the moon through the cloud all work together to make a very good photograph.

Olá Gonçalo, gostaria de ter locais assim aqui perto do Rio. Para achar locais com esse visual mais antigo e com pouco movimento eu teria que ir para cidades do interior. gosto de ambientes assim para fotografar.
Lindo esse feito no céu devido a longa exposiçăo.

Olá Gonçalo,
um efeito dramático sem igual. A lua envolta pela nuvens oferecem uma "clima" até assustador. O efeito provocado pela lente também aumenta a dramaticidade do ambiente.

Também gostei muito do resultado. As nuvens passando e o cenário estático, com cruzes, velas etc... dăo uma sensaçăo que năo sei definir muito bem - talvez que a gente năo se dę conta do nosso tempo, ou seja lá o que for isso...
Tá vendo o que esta foto me causou? Nem sei explicar. No mínimo, um impacto visual... vou deixar a coisa neste nível... ;-)

In this one , too , you've succeded with the difficult light capture . And the composition is excellent , with the two crosses , the pavement in the FG , and the lightened chapel . The strange atmosphere is enhanced by the low POV .

sometimes when we dont get the best focus, it doesn't always mean the shot was a failure.
case in point, the scene has tremendous atmosphere and mood.
and i think thats what you're refering to as well.

Olá Gonçalo,
fantástica toma nocturna, que has realizado perfectamente gracias a un tiempo largo de exposición. En mi opinión personal, y teniendo en cuenta el uso del trípode, yo te sugeriría haber cerrado más el diafragma con una f/11, por ejemplo, para ganar profundidad de campo, aunque eso hubiese necesitado de un mayor tiempo de exposición.
Pero, también creo que cada fotógrafo es el único que puede decidir los parámetros de su foto, y en este caso, el resultado que has obtenido es muy bueno, con lo que se demuestra que tu elección fue acertada.
Me gusta la atmósfera tan especial que vemos en esta imagen, y el efecto dinámico de las nubes en el cielo.
Un trabajo espléndido, amigo.

I would guess the difficulty in focusing in this shot. But you did very well. The perspective of the bricks on the floor works well, with the two crosses & the church balancing each other. The moon looks fine behind the clouds, racing thanks to the slow shutter speed! Well done shot!

I think the result is very good here and like in the other photos with the moon the atmosphere is very strong and.... frightful! (:-)
This is just the place and time for ghosts!
The two crosses are very photogenic and create a fine perspective. I like also the textures and of course the fine colours.
