I wonder how you get the misty background light and the boats darker, perfect contrast, very well done!
It just looks like a stone print of the past...
Well composed & framed, I also like the thin black line as frame, it's very elegant.

Very beautiful piece of work (no, actually I should say art), Claudia. The rich details of the boats in the foreground, and the blurrier, yet so enchanting background of this village, make for a wonderful composition. This is really amazing.

Exceptional. It's like a photograph from an old journal. Composition, contrast, details ... just perfect. The background is amazing ... it's faded but you can still discern a lot of information. Beautiful! I am curious to see the color version of this :-).

I like the misty look in the background - was that done with post processing? If possible, it would be lovely to see this image without processing, so we can appreciate what you've done with it!

This is excellent Claudia - the dark boats really stand out against the misty backdrop. For something like this you need something that creates an interesting graphic shape against the backdrop and the boats certainly work here. The contrast stops the background from distracting from the main subject while you can still see something of the surroundings. This is very atmospheric and I'm going to add it to my favourites!
