Photographer's Note

Another "sea related" subject. This is a fishing net, stored at open air, in Setubal´s harbour.

This type of nets are usually dropped on the sea in the afternoon and retrieved in the early morning. After use them, the fisherman clean it and store them for some time, to dry.

We can see the "nylon" thin wires, the structure ropes and some heavy "lead" metal pieces used to bring the net down, while in the water. With the upper part of the net floating and the lower part on the sea floor it will form an invisible "barrier" to catch some less cautious fishes.

The photo itself its a very simple one, taken in "P" mode and - 1/2 f stop to avoid overexposure.
